In 1993, KARPPAGA VINAYAGAR INDUSTRIES (KVI) has been fully registered by The Tamil Nadu government and started to produce components with the help of 10 auto lathes machines handled by 5 employees and one management employee to handle the billing and other documentation. In 1995, To fulfill the customer requirement, the company installed another 10 auto lathes to supply to new customers. In 1997, started a new firm named MAAS TECK (MK) to upgrade to new technology and installed 2 CNC machines. Now the company operates with 10 CNC machines, 1 CNC machine with a feeder, and 26 auto lathes.

 

Now a new factory named VALLIMALAI INDUSTRIES (VMI) has been opened with the idea to manufacture precision parts with advanced machinery. A new project has been started to rebuild the building with new technologies of ERP and is planned to install IIOT & Industrial 4.0.

Simultaneously, the management had hands-on with new technologies of quality instruments like profile projector (Mitutoyo), 2D Digital Height Master, and Roughness tester to ensure the quality of the product as per the customer requirements. Now, the management has planned to install a Video measuring machine and a Coordinate-measuring machine (CMM).

To maintain the quality of the product, KVI & MK has incorporated the Quality Management System of ISO 9001:2015 which has been certified by TUV SUD. Maruti has certified MAAS TECK as the trusted tier-II supplier. Now MAAS TECK is working on getting ISO 16494:2016.
